STEP 1: Remove the coil spring and rubber insulator if there is still one there and clean around the alignment ridge with a wire brush.

STEP 2: Mount the spacer over the alignment ridge making sure it is down flat and solid on the platform .The new spacer has a higher alignment ridge than the original ,so now is the time to put on the old rubber insulators, if they were ok to reuse. If you do not want to reuse them, just leave them off. DO NOT USE ONLY ONE SIDE AS THIS WILL CHANGE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENTS.

Step 3: This is what it will look like when the spacer and coil have been re-installed. Our spacers will work on almost any rear wheel drive vehicle.

NOTE: Please check all 1967 A Body cars as this was the cross-over year, and some had clamp and bolt and some had alignment ridge style. Also check 1972 and 1973 full size RWD to see if they have a clamp and a bolt holding the spring on or the alignment ridge style. All you have to look for is a bolt going through the platform. If you see some of the thread or nut under the platform then you have the clamp and bolt style. See order page for these applications. If you don't see a bolt under the platform, you have the newer alignment ridge style (shown on this page). If you are still not sure just e-mail us and we will be happy to help you.

Budzter's coil spring spacers will lift your coil springs up 1 1/4 inches and maybe slightly more because it compresses the spring (possibly 1/4 to 1/2 inch more).

ALWAYS USE ALL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS! We are not responsible for any accidents, or injuries, or   damage, caused by the installation or use of Budzter Coil Spring Adjusters or Spacers.
