REAR COIL SPRING ADJUSTER INSTALLATION INFORMATION - WITHOUT ALIGNMENT RIDGE.
1979 - 2004 Mustangs

Budzter's coil spring adjusters will lift your coil
springs about 1 1/2 inches without any adjustments.You can then adjust
for a lift of about 2 more inches. You can also use our adjusters for
preloading the rear suspension (right rear) for maximum traction.

STEP 1:
This is a Mustang lower control arm, but all Fox body
cars are the same. Remove the coil spring and the rubber
insulators if they are still there and wire brush around
the alignment ridge.

STEP 2:
Next you will cut and grind the old alignment ridge off
making sure it is flat and smooth. Then using the bottom
of the adjuster, line it up in the middle of the hole
(this is important) and line up the bolt holes in line with
the control arm`and drill two 3/8 holes .

Step 3: Now you can bolt down the adjuster
with the grade 8 bolts and lock nuts supplied, and turn it
down to the bottom. The grade 8 bolts and
lock nuts are hard to turn, but it is worth the effort for safety.
This is what it will look like when you
are ready to put it back in the car.
When it is back in the car you can adjust them accordingly.

Budzter's coil spring adjusters will give you almost as much traction as ladder bars or a four link
with small slicks when set up properly. This will drop your 60 foot times drastically.
